Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 4, 2025
Designed to align with applicable U.S. and California privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act).

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how VIRXL (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from virxl.shop (the "Site").

We are a small business based in California, USA. For purposes of California privacy law, we act as a “business” with respect to the personal information we collect from California residents. We value your privacy and aim to be transparent about how we handle your information.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The specific information we collect depends on how you interact with our Site. Generally, we collect:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and order details.
  • Payment Information: Payment card details are processed by our payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
  • Device & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and referring/exit pages. This is often collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Account & Support Data: Login credentials (if you create an account), order history, and communications you send to us (such as emails or messages through our contact form).
  • Marketing Preferences: Your choices about receiving email or SMS marketing from us.

We may also receive limited information about you from third parties (for example, analytics providers or payment processors) to help us prevent fraud, understand site performance, and improve our services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping, returns, and customer support.
  • To communicate with you about your order, account, or requests.
  • To send you marketing emails or SMS (if you have opted in), such as promotions or product updates.
  • To operate, improve, and optimize the Site, including analytics on how visitors browse and interact.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents and to enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
4. How We Share Personal Information

Because we operate using a dropshipping model, we share limited information with trusted third parties to fulfill orders and run the Site. We do not sell your personal information for money.

We may share your information with:

  • Suppliers & Fulfillment Partners: Name, shipping address, and phone number so they can prepare and ship your order. These partners are primarily located in the USA and China.
  • Payment Processors: Companies like Stripe or PayPal that securely process your payment information. They use your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Platform & Service Providers: E-commerce platform providers (e.g., Shopify or WooCommerce), email service providers, analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), and customer support tools that help us run the Site. We seek to treat them as “service providers” under California law, meaning they can only use your information to perform services for us.
  • Legal & Compliance: Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of some or all of our business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not currently “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and provide appropriate notices and opt-out options.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels or tags) to operate the Site and understand how it is used.

  • Essential Cookies: Needed for core functionality like shopping cart, checkout, and security.
  • Performance & Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and choices for a better experience.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not work properly.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • To complete your purchases and provide customer support.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
  • To resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

When we no longer need your personal information, we will delete it or de-identify it, subject to any legal obligations to retain it.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

7. Your California Privacy Rights

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers are located, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
